Background / Origin

Wheat is thought to be one of the first grains ever cultivated and is mainly known for its processing into bread. The wheat germ oil is produced from the wheat germ (Triticum aestivum). The wheat germ is the reproductive part of the grain which grows into a plant. It is nutritionally the most valuable part containing vitamins, minerals, protein and oil which is extremely rich in vitamin E.
