TV appearance - Bio-based Extraction

One of our highlights of 2021 was our TV appearance on Dutch Television RTLZ where we were able to introduce our new – ground-breaking – project focussing on bio-based extraction.

Developing new ingredients using bio-based extraction

Together with New Holland Extraction, Pennakem LLC., VivaOrganic and DMB we are working on a project that focusses on solvent-based extraction. Solvent-based extraction is an essential step for many plant-based products, especially for vegetable oils and proteins. We are now able to use a 100% bio-based solvent called EcoXtract® as a green alternative to hexane for the development of various ingredients. Our ambition is to develop new ingredients for plant-based food concepts in a sustainable way.
